§ 2-971. General duties.

  • Each officer and employee of the city, administrative and otherwise, shall perform the duties of his respective office or position as and in the manner provided in the Charter and this chapter and all ordinances hereafter enacted; and, insofar as not inconsistent with the provisions of the Charter or of this chapter or of ordinances hereafter enacted, each officer and employee of the city shall perform the duties of his respective office or position as and in the manner provided by existing ordinances of the city enacted under authority of preceding city charters.
