§ 2-466. Control, operation and management of museum property.

The control, operation and management of the museum property now located upon the tract of land bounded by Norledge Place, Indiana Avenue, Gladstone Boulevard and Walrond Avenue, and the exhibits therein, are vested in the director of public works, but the director, subject to approval by the council, may contract with the Kansas City Museum Association or other appropriate agency to operate the museum for the city and to display and preserve the exhibits in the museum.
