§ 2-1192. Forfeiture of rights for fraud.

Any person who knowingly makes any false statement, or shall falsify or permit to be falsified any record, in an attempt to defraud the retirement system shall forfeit all rights to which he may be entitled under this division.

Notwithstanding any other provisions of the retirement system plan to the contrary, forfeitures shall not be applied to increase the benefits any member would otherwise receive under the plan.
