§ 2-5. Assignment of office space.

The use of the council chamber and the council committee rooms shall be controlled by the council. The council shall by resolution assign space in the city hall and in other buildings belonging to the city for its own use and that of its employees and for the use and occupancy of the municipal court, the mayor, the boards appointed by the mayor, the director of records and the city auditor. All other space in the city hall and in other buildings which belong to the city shall be assigned by the city manager for the use and occupancy of the various other departments and offices of the city.
