§ 18-326. License required; exceptions.

(a)

A license is authority granted to the person, firm, partnership, company, corporation, association, agency, or other entity to whom it is issued to engage in the business of contracting to perform certain work. A license is not transferable.

(b)

Licenses shall be required for all types of work classified and described in this division.

(c)

Exceptions to the license requirement are found in section 18-14 of this chapter.
